Accordingly, our general philosophy is that an active member feels ownership over our collective work. Both nationally and locally, we push members to take the initiative in our planning and organizing and create spaces for training and leadership. This approach to membership not only incentivizes paying dues regularly but also builds our organization and upholds our feelings of family and connectedness.
